How Pricing Works

It starts with a free 30-minute call. If there’s work to do, the next step is an assessment of the books. After that, you get a fixed price for any project before it starts, or a monthly price for ongoing work.

The Assessment

Before recommending a fix, we want to understand what happened. In the assessment we look at how the books are set up, how the monthly work gets done, and where the numbers stop making sense. You get a written summary of what we found and what we’d do next.

How the Work Is Priced

01

Project-Based Work

Best for: Reconstruction, system setup and migrations, process work, and automation.

Once we know what the project involves, you get a fixed price. It doesn’t change unless the scope does, and if that happens, we talk before doing any extra work.

02

Monthly Bookkeeping

Priced by the month, based on how many transactions and accounts there are, whether payroll or inventory is involved, and what reporting you need.

You get the monthly price after we’ve seen the books.

03

Fractional Controller & Advisory

For businesses that need someone reviewing the close and explaining the numbers every month. The price depends on how involved the close is, what reporting you need, and how often we meet.

Starting at $500/month

What Changes the Price

Two businesses with the same revenue can need very different amounts of work. The price follows the work, not the size of the company.

  1. 01

    Transaction volume

  2. 02

    Number of accounts and entities

  3. 03

Condition and accuracy of existing books

  4. 04

    Historical periods requiring reconstruction

  5. 05

Payroll, inventory, loans, fixed assets, or job costing

  6. 06

Number of systems or integrations involved

  7. 07

    Reporting requirements

  8. 08

Degree of automation or process redesign required

You Know the Price Before Work Starts

Projects are fixed-fee, not hourly. If the scope changes partway through, we talk about it before doing any extra work.

  • The scope is in writing.
  • The price is fixed.
  • Changes get discussed first.
